Key Factors to Success
The key factors in this model’s success are:
She has personality and comes across as real. She talks to guys in her room in the same way that she’d talk to guys in a bar. She relates to them as a real person, gets to know them and treats them as real people, not just as names on a screen.
She lets her clients in and makes them feel important. She shares intimate details of her life with them, tries on different outfits and asks their opinions, talks about her day and what’s going on in her life, asks their advice on different subjects, asks them what’s going on in their lives, etc… She makes them feel like they matter to her and that they’re a part of her life.
She makes it fun and interesting. So many webcam models log into their rooms and sit there like statues, waiting for guys to talk to them, or expecting guys to throw money at them. When this doesn’t happen, they get discouraged and quit. Webcam modeling is a performance art and webcam models are performers. If your models are unwilling or unable to make an effort to perform, members are going to get bored and leave. Models should come up with interesting and fun subjects to discuss, set provocative room topics, play games and lead the conversation, rather than expecting guys to lead. They should think of themselves as the stars of their own reality shows or hosts of a game show.
Control the Room
The most common complaint from models is that guys expect them to work for free, don’t want to tip, don’t want to take them private, etc… This is true for many models and yet others get tips and privates all day long, so what are they doing differently? Successful models exude an air of confidence and enforce the rules in their rooms. They’re not arrogant, but neither do they allow guys to push them around. There are some rude and pushy members who prey on inexperienced models. If they see a new girl working, they’ll go into her room and start making demands, coercing her into giving them a “free preview”, etc…
Train your models to stand their ground and be polite but firm:
- If members want to see models topless, they need to tip.
- If members wants to see models nude, they need to take them private.
- If a member is rude, he gets kicked out of the room.
- If he’s rude repeatedly, he gets banned from the room.
- No exceptions.
Models should treat this as a job, post a schedule and stick to the schedule. For whatever reason, many members, particularly the big spenders, are reluctant to spend money on new models. This may be because they’re seeking more of a virtual relationship with the model and they want to make sure she’s going to stick around for a while, before they start investing time and money in her.
